WORLD CONQUERS RUSSIA!

From SibRACE Ltd., the company known as the “Biggest Performance Shop in Russia” comes the first American-powered race car in Russian history! And what power did they choose? A World Products 632 Hardcore Merlin.

Owned by Roman Toporkov, managing team “402.ru”, this S&W Race Cars-chassis Camaro ran a best ET of 10.500 on the motor, at the DRAGBITVA-2007 event on June 30th, 2007 before a crowd of 12,000 fans in Krasnoyarsk. Roman reports the crowd was thrilled to hear the fury of their first American Big Block.

Here’s a portion of Roman’s message: “We’re very happy with the engine and the results of the Camaro. It wouldn’t have been possible without your products – thank you guys! The debut of the “American Muscle” in Russia this summer was VERY successful and bright. We’re hoping to build more and more of these cars since the interest in V8 beasts is emerging and it’s growing very fast!”

We’re grateful to Roman for choosing our World 632 and for sharing this exciting news with us. We look forward to more racing results as the team plans nitrous and eventually a bad blower for the 632. We know the motor will be up to the challenge.

It’s nice to see these folks learning what we’ve known for some time-you always want to go faster!

Enjoy these pics of that great event in Russian history…
