In last 12 starts at 5 different race tracks, John has won 9 and placed second in 3!

Born and raised in Chanute, Kansas, John Allen has become one of the most successful drivers in the NCRA Modified division. John started racing at the age of 16, racing Street Stocks in Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. Late Models followed 4 years later. In 1991 John began his modified career, driving throughout the midwest and south. Following the USMS series in 1995 and 1996, John finished 2nd & 3rd in points in those years. John began the 1998 season following the NCRA series, finishing 2nd in points. 1999 saw John Allen dominate the NCRA Modified Series , winning numerous features throughout the midwest and collecting his first NCRA Modified Championship. The 2000 NCRA season proved to be a close race in points, culminating the last week of the season with John Allen defending his title. The 2001 season saw A&A Racing and John Allen making it 3 in a row, by winning his unprecedented 3rd consecutive NCRA Modified Championship. The 2002 season John finished 3rd in NCRA Modifieds, closing the gap with leaders in the final races.

2003-2006 John enjoyed competing at Lakeside in Kansas City, Ks in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series.  John also competed in  many USMTS, NCRA and open events throughout the Midwest.

In 2007 John is planning to compete at Lakeside Speedway in KC, Kansas on Friday nights and at Heartland Park Topeka on Sundays. He will also be traveling to many USMTS, NCRA and open races throughout the midwest.
